As I continue to labour sincerely on communal harmony in India following the noble example of Gandhiji, the Martyrdom Day of Gandhiji on the 30th January, 2015 broke my heart deeply. It may be recalled that he was rudely assassinated by Mathuram Godse of the RSS on the most unfortunate day of 30th January, 1948 while going to temple for morning prayer. Following the assassination of Gandhiji, RSS was banned by Sardar Patel as the Home Minister of India. Thus Gandhiji became the sacrificial lamb of India like Jesus Christ in the cruel hands of his beloved people whom he loved immensely following the noble example of Jesus Christ. He laid down his life for the unity of India irrespective of caste, creed and religions. He was dead against communal politics joined by Nerhu and S. Patel. Unfortunately, the Bharatiya Janata Party Government in the centre totally forgot the sacrificial work of Gandhiji despite her constant propagation of the political philosophy of Gandhiji based on truth and non-violence. She has become totally hypocritical by joining hands with the RSS who assassinated Gandhiji by becoming anti social and destructive cultural organizations. She is continuing to take the advice of the RSS in all policy decisions of the Government both in the centre and states publicly. I wish and hope that the party will walk the talk on communal harmony which was dearest to the heart of the Gandhiji, the father of the nation.
It is considered necessary to say that even Barack, the President of America paid homage to Gandhiji at Rajghat, New Delhi on the 25th January, 2015 just before the Republic Day on January 26, 2015. If the most powerful President in the world could do so how about Bharatiya Janata Party headed by Narendra, as the Prime Minister?
I sincerely appeal to Government of India not to assassinate another Gandhiji who are sincerely working to bring communal harmony in India and make India a developed nation through the power of unity.
