No Man’s Sky gets major update today called ‘Expeditions’
Dimapur, March 31 (EMN): Hello Games is releasing a major update for No Man’s Sky today. The new No Man’s Sky Expeditions update will let all players start out on the same planet and let them explore the universe in a plotted journey.
In a new trailer, developer Hello Games explains that the Expeditions update is intended to encourage collaboration between players as they embark on a shared adventure. All players will start out together on the same planet with a random assortment of tech and ships in their inventory. There will be exploration milestones that offer exciting rewards for their troubles including parts and ship designs.
The Expeditions update will also bring a host of quality-of-life fixes including a fully-updated HUD, colour-blind support, combat mechanics, improved text-chat and better pinning. Explorer-class starships have also been given a visual overhaul with “enhanced model and texture detail.” Recipe costs and terrain resource deposits have also been balanced to reduce grind gameplay.
This year marks No Man’s Sky’s fifth anniversary and the developer has promised more content to celebrate the milestone. It may be mentioned that in February, Hello Games had announced that No Man’s Sky will have animal companions for its explorers soon.
