No fresh Covid cases detected in Nagaland; most districts are Covid-free

Dimapur, Feb. 17(EMN):
The minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom has updated that no new Covid-19 positive cases were detected in the state on Wednesday, while five patients — three in Dimapur and two in Kohima – recovered.

The total number Covid-19 cases in the state remains the same at 12,190.

According to the information provided by the department of Health and Family Welfare, Nagaland currently has 36 active cases, out of which 35 are asymptomatic and one with mild symptoms. The state has recorded 11,913 recoveries and 88 deaths out of which 10 deaths are “not covid-related”.

In terms of district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Kohima has 27 cases and Dimapur, 9, while other districts are currently Covid-free.
