Imphal, Aug. 18 (EMN): To enhance extracurricular activities, a new initiative called ‘No Bag Day’ for classes 1 to 8 will soon be implemented in schools in Manipur on every Saturday.
This was disclosed by Manipur Education Minister Thokchom Radheshyam during an event at Sekmai Khumbi High School in Thoubal district on August 17.
The minister also mentioned that process is underway to make school inspections compulsory by the officials of the Directorate of Education.
