Dimapur, Sep. 12 (EMN): Citing RTI response, the Nagaland NET Qualified Forum (NNQF) has stated that 63 posts of assistant professor out of 68 were requisitioned to the NPSC for advertisement.

In a press release issued on Thursday, the forum stated that 110 posts of assistant professor were created and approved to be recruited within the year 2018-2019 (68 posts) and 2019-2020 (42 posts).

“The 68 posts even received approval for recruitment from the governor of Nagaland on August 9, 2018. The NNOF has been demanding the advertisement of the 110 assistant professor and librarian posts in the Higher Education department since September 2018,” it stated.

As such, the forum has demanded that the 63 posts requisitioned to the NPSC be advertised at the earliest; and the remaining 42 posts along with the 5 withheld posts (from the 68) be requisitioned to the NPSC for advertisement and recruitment.

It has also requested the NPSC to declare the results of the Common Education Service Exam held on March 9, 2019, at the earliest.
