NNPGs reaffirm anti-defection law

Presidents of the seven Nagaland National Political Group are seen during the 2nd presidential co-ordination meeting on November 27.

Dimapur, Nov. 28 (EMN): The seven Nagaland National Political Groups (NNPGs) has resolved to honour its anti-defection law and work towards re-strengthening and keep alive the spirit of oneness.

The resolution to this effect was taken during the 2nd presidential co-ordination meeting of the 7 NNPGs held on November 27 at the residence of Hothrong Yimchunger, ACL and chairman of Eastern Naga National Workers Association (ENNWA), GPRN/NSCN, an update from the sessional secretary Ritza Sangtam stated.

The house also resolved to stand steadfastly with the working committee of the 7 NNPGs and further endorsed the working committee to continue to work diligently for the Naga cause until a solution which is honourable and acceptable to the Nagas is worked out.
