Kohima, July 21 (EMN):
Considering the need to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus, New Market Youth Organisation (NMYO) sanitised the footpaths, shops and railings at New Market colony in Kohima on July 19.

Amelie Belho, a member of NMYO, informed Eastern Mirror that about 15 volunteers led by its president Andrew Tepa sprayed disinfectants on the retail shops, walls and railings along the three parallel roads in New Market colony on Sunday morning.

NMYO informed that they had borne the expenditure of face shields, raincoats, gloves and sprayers used in sanitising the places, which are in the public domain as a safety measure against Covid-19.
