Nagaland Medical Students’ Union Bihar (NMSUB) held its 4th annual general conference on August 4 and 5.
DIMAPUR — Nagaland Medical Students’ Union Bihar (NMSUB) held its 4th annual general conference on August 4 and 5. The conference was marked by a visit to ‘Aixin Educational Centre,’ a school based in Bihar.
An update from NMSUB stated that ‘Aixin Educational Centre,’ which is derived from a Chinese word meaning ‘Love or Compassion’ was founded by Watikumla Lemtor and Longzochang Imchen in the year 2014 under the aegis of ‘Youth with a mission.’ The educational centre was established to provide schooling to those children, who are denied of their rights to education because of social and economic status.
It mentioned that there are 53 students currently doing their pre-schooling along with 6 teaching staff.
The team was led by Longzochang Imchen along with three specialist doctors, one intern and 20 medical students. The team also distributed stationeries and food packets to the pupils.
