NK Naga’s song is soundtrack for TV series on Naga woman Army officer

Ngukavi Zhimo, who goes by the stage name of NK Naga, is known in the local music scene for his singing in Hindi. He has released two originals in Hindi and won talent shows including ‘The Beat of Heart – ‘Geet Zindagi Ki’ at Guwahati, Assam in 2017.

And now, his song ‘How’s the josh’ has been chosen as the theme song for a TV series based on the life of a Naga woman officer in the army, Maj. (Rtd) Ketholebeinuo Kuotsu. She had served in the Corps of Signals.

Naga told reporters on Tuesday that the series, with 26 episodes, will be aired on Doordarshan once the shooting is completed.

According to him, the series is an initiative of IGAR (N) and it will be produced by Gulshan Sachdeva of Film and Shots production house based in Mumbai.

Also, he has proposed to Governor RN Ravi to officially release the song, which is 3:41 minutes long.

Naga cites, among others, Kumar Sanu, Vinod Rathore and Udit Narayan, as Hindi singers who have influenced him.
