DIMAPUR — The Nationalist Institute of Technology & Innovation (NITI), Dimapur, under the aegis of Lords Infotech Management Pvt. Ltd. (LIMPL), celebrated Teachers’ Day on Monday at LIM auditorium in Dimapur.
The event had Naina Daria, a corporate lawyer, and Daniel Meren, joint director of NIELIT, as special invitees, according to a press release.
Speaking on the occasion, Meren exhorted the NITIans to learn the latest technologies for their own benefit, stating that the future is for innovators and specialists.
He insisted that NITI keep launching the latest of its NSQF mapped courses for the benefit of the youth as a training partner of NIELIT. He also appreciated the efforts of the NITI faculty for their contributions to building a better Nagaland.
Daria, who is also the wife of DC Dimapur Sachin Jaiswal, shared in her speech her own experience as a teacher and corporate lawyer.
Earlier, Rishav Sethi, CEO and HOC, NITI, welcomed the special invitees, and Ajay Sethi, founder and MD, LIMPL, spoke about the company’s 23-year history and the relevance of NITI centres.
MHSS: Modern Higher Secondary School, Kohima, celebrated pre-Teachers’ Day on Monday at the school auditorium.
According to a press release, the program’s compares were Leshini Hekha and Kumtsumong Lims, the invocation was pronounced by Dishusa Joshou, and Class 11 students performed the welcome song.
Thsinglipi delivered a speech on behalf of the students, and Kikatemba Ozukum, HoD, department of Science, delivered an exhortation on behalf of the teachers.
