Nintendo reveals all-time top-selling Nintendo Switch games
Japanese console gaming giant, Nintendo, on Tuesday, revealed the updated list of the all-time top-selling Switch games as of December 31, 2022.
The Nintendo Switch console was launched in 2017 and has since then established itself as one of the best-selling gaming consoles of all-time with 122.55 million units sold as of December 2022. According to the Nintendo Life website, the console’s total sales have now exceeded Nintendo’s Game Boy and Sony’s PlayStation 4. It currently sits in third place behind the PlayStation 2 (155 million) and Nintendo DS (154 million).
Judging by how Nintendo Switch is still being sold with the company projecting around 18 million sales for its current fiscal year, it is conceivable to assume that the handheld console device could grab the top spot during its lifetime.
