Nine more test Covid-19 positive in Nagaland; tally at 1030

Dimapur, July 21 (EMN): Nine more Covid-19 positive cases have been reported in Nagaland on Tuesday, taking the tally of the state to 1030.
This was informed by the minister of Health, S Pangnyu Phom, through a social media update on Tuesday morning.
‘Out of 239 samples tested, 9 positive cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed.
6 in Dimapur, 2 in Mon & 1 in Peren,’ the minister tweeted.
The health authorities in Nagaland have declared 484 patients ‘recovered.’ There are 546 active cases in the state and no deaths.
Nagaland recorded its first Covid-19 positive cases on May 25 when three returnees tested positive for the virus.
The state breached the 1000-mark positive cases on July 20 as 33 more Covid-19 positive cases were reported, taking the tally to 1021 on July 20.
As of July 21, Dimapur has the highest cases among the districts with 237 active cases, followed by Kohima with 91 active cases; Peren has 90 active cases; Mon has 89 cases; Tuensang has 10 cases; Phek has 8 cases, while Mokokchung has five cases, Longleng has three cases; Zunheboto has two cases and Wokha has one case.
According to the severity of the symptoms, out of the 546 active cases, 542 cases are asymptomatic while two are mild cases, one moderate case, and one critical case (on ventilator).
