Nilip BJP Mandal Committee holds executive meeting

The Nilip BJP Mandal Committee held its executive meeting at Marjong Club office in Chokihola to discuss the strengthening of the BJP party in Nilip Member of Autonomous Council (MAC) constituency.

The meeting was presided by President Nilip BJP Mondal Committee, Bapuram Teron.

In the meeting, MAC Pobitra Rongpi said that the Nilip area has witnessed development with the BJP coming to power at the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC). He said, the KAAC through the support of the state government has taken up various developmental schemes for the people of Nilip.

Some of the major developments in the Nilip area include completion of RCC Bridge across the Deigrum River at Koilamati and the improvement of the Silonijan – Chokihola road, Rongpi said.

The president of BJP – East Karbi Anglong District Committee, Roland Killing urged the party workers to work sincerely towards strengthening the party in Nilip.

The meeting was also attended by Prabhari Nilip Mandal,  Hun Phangcho; treasurer, Nilip BJP Mondal Committee, Mohonsing Teron and presidents and secretaries of different cells and morchas of BJP Nilip Mondal Committee. (Diphu, EMN):
