Niki-led NSCN (K) urges not to make contradictory statements on Naga political solution
Dimapur, May 30 (EMN): The Niki Sumi-led NSCN (K) aka NSCN/GPRN on Monday said that it will be wise for the facilitators and stakeholders to avoid mixed and contradictory statements on Naga political solution, as “talking in different tongues breeds only pandemonium and apprehension amongst us”.
In view of the government of India’s (GoI) stand for one inclusive political solution and the past accords/agreements failing to solve the Indo-Naga political issue, the group said unity among the Naga political groups be achieved only when civil society organisations (CSOs) “unite under one single umbrella such as Naga Hoho, Naga Students’ Federation, Naga Mothers’ Association, GB Federation etc.”, and “culminating in the people’s aspiration of peace and lasting political solution”.
Meanwhile, it sought to know if the leaders of GoI have officially “laid out Naga solution” or we are twisting narratives as per our own perspectives; and which accord — Framework Agreement or the Agreed Position — will be implemented.
In its press release, the group also asked if the GoI will give separate solution to NSCN (IM), WC-NNPG and NSCN/GPRN, and for that matter CSOs like UNC, CNTC, NTC, TPO, ENPO, etc. as well.
