Night Riders win 1st Futsal Tournament at Jotsoma

Kohima, March 15 (EMN): Night Riders emerged champions of the 1st Futsal Tournament organised by One Life, One Goal, One Chance Club (OLOGOC) after defeating Adroit Boys at Zasivi Futsal Arena, Jotsoma village on Saturday.

In the semi-finals, Adroit Boys defeated Score Heroes 3-1 and Night Riders defeated Friends FC 3-2. In the final match, Night Riders defeated Adroit Boys 4-2.

Sinlo Kent and Vizovor Liezietsu of Night Riders were declared the man of the tournament and the best keeper and received certificates and sports merchandise

The winning team walked away with a cash prize of INR 20,000 along with certificates while the runners-up received a cash prize of INR 10,000 along with certificates.

Kevisilie Chielie, president OLOGOC Club, handed the trophy and awards to the players.

The tournament was held from March 13 to the 14th with 37 teams from across the state vying for the trophy.
