NIELIT offers digital forensics training to Egyptian participants
DIMAPUR — The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) Kohima launched a Digital Forensics Training Programme for students, university lecturers, and government officials from Egypt.
The training will be provided under the aegis of NIELIT and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, according to a press release.
Among the dignitaries present virtually at the launch were Wael Mohamed Awad Hamed, the Ambassador of Egypt to India; Asheesh Gupta, charge d’affaires and deputy chief of mission in Cairo; S. Krishnan, secretary of MeitY; Dr. Madan Mohan Tripathi, director general of NIELIT; Dr. Heba Saleh, director of ITI Egypt; Samah Aziz, director of international relations at the Egyptian Ministry of Communications and IT; and other senior officials from both nations.
Following a 10-week intensive online training module, participants will have the opportunity to visit NIELIT Kohima for hands-on laboratory experience, which will equip them with advanced cybersecurity skills, it added.
The programme promises to be a valuable platform for knowledge exchange and fostering international collaboration in combating cyber threats.
