Dimapur, Dec. 8 (EMN): The Nagaland In-Service Doctors’ Association (NIDA) has decided to withdraw non-Covid and other non-essential medical services across the state on December 11 from 6 am to 6 pm.

The decision to this effect was taken in support of the IMA’s call against the central government’s decision to allow practice of modern surgical procedures by Ayurveda doctors.

NIDA president Dr. E Phyantsuthung and the joint secretary Dr. Thomas Keppen, however, stated that Covid related medical services and other emergency medical services would remain unaffected.
