Dimapur, Dec. 17 (EMN): The government of Nagaland is organizing an entrepreneurship summit for the Northeast region in collaboration with the United Nations Global Compact organization, on Dec. 20 and the 21st, at the Niathu Resort in Dimapur. The theme for the event is “Developing Northeast through the power of entrepreneurship,” the DIPR stated in its Monday report.
The chief minister of the state, Neiphiu Rio, will be inaugurating the summit at 3:30 pm on the 20th. That developing entrepreneurship is vital to Nagaland now, the DIPR stated, a number of departments, listed here, have been requested to attend and be prepared for interaction at the summit. The departments are Industry & Commerce; Tourism; Employment & Skill Development; Agriculture; Horticulture; Animal Husbandry & Veterinary; Land Resources; Water Resources; Power; New & Renewable Energy; Geology & Mining/NSMDC; Health & Family Welfare; T & C; Transport; Higher Education; Women Resource; Urban & Municipal Affairs; Planning & Coordination; Water Resources and I&PR.
