Kohima Bureau Kohima, March 13 (EMN): The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has issued fresh summons to former chief minister of Nagaland TR Zeliang after the latter had failed to appear before it on March 13 for questioning in connection with an alleged terror financing case being probed by the agency. Zeliang confirmed to reporters here on Tuesday that he has received another letter of summon from the NIA directing him to appear before the agency officer leading the investigation on March 17 at New Delhi. The NIA is investigating a scam in which funds meant for the Nagaland government allegedly went to armed Naga groups. The agency is looking into the alleged ‘terror financing’ since 2016, according to reports.
