NHIDCL donates life support ambulance to Karbi Anglong

Diphu, May 10 (EMN): National Highway and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) formally donated a life support ambulance to the district administration of Karbi Anglong on Monday. The ambulance was flagged off by Deputy Commissioner of Karbi Anglong, Ng Chandra Dhwaj Singha, in the office premises. During the flag-off ceremony, DC Dhwaj Singha said, ‘Today is a very happy day for Karbi Anglong district administration for the simple reason that (Retd) Col. Rajeev Ratan Katyal, General manager, NHIDCL project monitoring unit Diphu has been very kind enough to donate ambulance to district administration for further giving to some other civil organisations or NGOs. I wish to give on record deep sense of gratitude to Col. RR Katyal and through him to NHIDCL.’
Further, the DC also said that when there was a ‘spike or surge in the number of Covid-19 patients’ this would be a great help to district administration to render good service and help to the public and the patients who need the service of this ambulance.
The ambulance was formally handed over by (NHIDCL), project monitoring unit Diphu (Retd) Col. Rajeev Ratan Katyal, General Manager to DC, Karbi Anglong
