NHIDCL donates ambulances to Nagaland police

Dimapur, Oct. 5 (EMN): Nagaland police received four ambulances from the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) during a programme held at PHQ premises on October 1.

The Nagaland Director General of Police (DGP), T John Longkumer, received the ambulances from the executive director of NHIDCL, stated a DIPR report.

It stated that the ambulances were of higher end with basic life support equipment. It added that each ambulance is equipped with emergency apparatus such as oxygen cylinders, manual resuscitator, electric portable suction aspirator with airflow, automatic external defibrillator, BP/ heart-rate and saturation monitor along with other emergency kits.

Speaking at the programme, the DGP Nagaland expressed gratitude to NHIDCL for the generous gesture shown towards Nagaland Police.

Report also stated that the executive director of NHIDCL, MS Deol, in his short speech, highlighted the various initiatives taken up by the NHIDCL towards social uplift in the state. He also informed that a project for setting up of public utilities for the use of women and children along the National Highways in the state is also being conceived. He added that NHIDCL would construct public utilities in Nagaland Police owned land provided by the Director General of Police.
