Dimapur, June 13 (EMN): Nagaland Government Registered Class-1 Contractors’ Union (NGRC-1 CU) has requested all registered contractors to apply for Identity Card as per its Rule 2006 by submit the required documents to the office of NGRC-1 CU, Phezoucha, Secretariat Road, Kohima, during the working hours.
The union president, Seyiekuolie stated that it has been collecting required documents of the registered contractors from time to time and submit to the issuing authority in bulk for the issuing of identity card.
He also stated the union would officially approach the office of Engineer-in-Chief (NPWD) with a request to furnish the list of valid registered contractors upto date so as to enable the union to forward the valid registered contractors to the issuing authority for the same.
With the progress of developmental works especially on roads in and around state capital, NGRC-1 CU appreciated the present government under the leadership of the chief minister, Neiphiu Rio, for taking active initiative as per the Smart City project to genuinely develop Kohima as one of the smart cities in the country. The union also acknowledged the good quality works done and the ongoing works especially along the NH-29 by one of its advisors Vilelie Khamo.
