NFR: Single trip special train from Silchar to New Delhi on Oct. 17
‘Waiting list’ passengers of other trains running in this route can avail the facility
Dimapur, Oct. 15 (EMN): The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has decided to run a one way special train from Silchar to New Delhi to clear the extra rush of passengers.
An update from the NFR issued on Oct. 145 informed that the special train will run for a single trip on Oct. 17.
Special train No. 05611 (Silchar – New Delhi) will depart from Silchar railway station at 11:30 pm on Oct. 17 via New Haflong, Guwahati, Goalpara Town,New Jalpaiguri, Katihar, Gorakhpur, Lucknow and Gaziabad railway stations to reach New Delhi at 1:45 am on Oct. 20.
The special train will consist of 18 coaches with 2 AC three tier, 1 AC two tier, 9 sleeper class, 4 general sitting and 2 Seating cum Luggage coach.
The update informed that ‘Waiting list’ passengers of other trains running in this route can avail the facility.
The details of stoppages and timings of this train are said to be available at IRCTC website and are also being notified in various media platforms of NFR. Passengers have been requested to verify the details before undertaking their journey.
