NFR planted over 5 lakh saplings within a year

Dimapur, June 5 (EMN): The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has planted 5,33,300 plant saplings within its areas during 2017-18 year. The project was said to have been a part of its commitment towards a greener, safer and sustainable environment. A press release from the NFR informed on Tuesday. The saplings were planted along railway tracks, around office buildings, stations, residential colonies, schools, workshops, and various parks maintained by the railway, it added.
