Dimapur, Oct. 31 (EMN): With a view to foster and reinforce the dedication to preserve and strengthen the unity, integrity and security of the nation, the Rastriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) was observed in the Northeast Frontier Railway Construction Organisation, in Maligaon on Wed. Oct. 31.
In an update received on Wednesday, the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, also known as National Unity Day was observed throughout the country to commemorate the 143rd birth anniversary of late Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man and Architect of India’s Freedom Movement.
On the occasion N.K.Prasad, General manager, N.F.Railway, Construction Organisation administered a unity pledge to employees and officer in the Con. HQ premises. Before administering the pledge Prasad said that Sardar Patel was a man of integrity and also referred the prime minister’s relentless efforts to make India strong and united which was also main objective of the Ironman Sardar Patel.
He made appeal to all to respond the call of Sardar Patel in this regard.
