NFR achieves 100% request compliance rate last financial year
DIMAPUR — The N.F. Railway (NFR) has updated that it achieved 100% request compliance rate during the last FY2023-24 with an average disposal time of 105 minutes.
It may be mentioned that RAIL MADAD was launched in 2019 to put in place an effective monitoring system towards a one-stop solution to requests, grievances and enquiries by train passengers.
“Comparatively during the current FY 2024-25 NFR still manages to hold the 100% compliance rate for the period starting from 1st April with 73 minutes as disposal time of requests. NFR has also maintained 12 minutes as the First Response Time (FRT) during the current financial year (2024-25) as compared to 16 minutes in the last financial year of 2023-24. FRT is an indicator of efficiency in handling emergency assistance requests,” read the update.
A total of 1,51,887 requests have been resolved during the last FY 2023-24 and 53,541 during the current financial year 2024-25, it updated, adding that lots of passengers use the Rail Madad complaints mechanism.
