NF Railway to run Holi special trains

Dimapur, March 3 (EMN): Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has decided to run two pairs of Holi special train between Kamakhya and Anand Vihar (New Delhi) according to an update from the chief public relations officer on NFR.

These special trains are expected to clear the rush of passengers who are willing to travel during the festival of colour. Wait listed passengers of other regular trains can also change their journey schedule to avail this special train.

Holi special train number 04052 will leave from Anand Vihar on March 4 and the 9th at 23:45 hrs to reach Kamakhya at 14-45 hrs. on March 6 and the 11th. During return journey, Holi special train number 04051 will leave from Kamakhya at 05:35 hrs on March 7 and the 12th to reach Anand Vihar at 1900 hrs on March 8 and the 13th. The special train will have AC 3 tier, sleeper class and general second class facilities for passengers to travel.

During its journey, the train will have stoppages at Goalpara Town, New Bongaigaon, Alipurduar Jn. Binnaguri, New Jalpaiguri, Kishanganj, Katihar, Naugachia, Barauni, Khagaria Jn, Begusarai, Hajipur, Chhapra, Siwan, Deoria Sadar, Gorakhpur, Basti, Mankapur Jn, Gonda, Sitapur Cantt, Chandausi Jn, Hapur, Moradabad, and Ghaziabad on both ways.

It may be mentioned here that, NF Railway has been running such special train depending on heavy rush of passengers as well as feasibility in a particular route.
