Dimapur, Sep. 25 (EMN): The general manager of NF Railway (Construction), N K Prasad, formally inaugurated the e-office system for NF Railway, Construction establishment to adopt paperless service provided by the Rail Tel in the conference hall of its headquarters in Maligaon on Wednesday, September 25.
E-office project is a Mission Mode Project (MMP) under the National e-Governance Programme of the Government of India stated an update received here on Wednesday.
The project aims to usher in more efficient, effective and transparent inter-government and intra-government transactions and processes.
The system will enable paperless working in NF Railway, Construction establishment which will be the boost towards digitisation. This is built as single reusable system by bringing together independent functions and systems under a single framework to enhance transparency, increase accountability and transform the government work culture and ethics.
The aim of E-office implementation is to provide reliable, efficient, and effective way to handle office files and documents. The e-office will also promote green way of working by introducing paperless work culture in NF Railway, Construction.
