DIMAPUR — The Department of Information and Public Relations (IPR) has informed that the revised accreditation policy has been uploaded to the official IPR website for public access and reference. In this regard, applications are invited from journalists working with recognised media houses for fresh accreditation under the revised policy framework. Interested applicants may visit the website at ipr.nagaland.gov.in to review the updated guidelines, eligibility criteria, and application procedures, according to an update.
Kiphire prepares for National Dengue Day
DIMAPUR — Longdiba L Sangtam, ADC and Administrator of Kiphire Town Council, has notified that National Dengue Day will be observed across the country on May 16. According to a DIPR report, the day will be observed in pursuance of the directive of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on the theme "Community participation in dengue control: Check, clean and cover" and as part of pre-monsoon preparedness. According to a DIPR report, all the general public, departments, and institutions have been requested to participate in the mass social work to be held in Kiphire from 6 am onwards on May 16, aimed at preventing and controlling dengue.

DIMAPUR — The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Chümoukedima, has informed all heads of offices in the district regarding nominations for the Subash Chandra Bose Aapda Prabandhan Puraskar. According to a DIPR report, the award recognises individuals, institutions, and organisations that have demonstrated exceptional contributions, dedication, and exemplary service in the field of disaster management. All departments and offices under the Chümoukedima district have been requested to identify and nominate deserving individuals or organisations for the award and submit the list of nominations for further submission to the government.
KG Kenye convenes CEALPP meeting
DIMAPUR — Minister for Parliamentary Affairs and Chairperson of the Committee to Examine the Applicability of Laws Passed by Parliament (CEALPP), KG Kenye, has convened a meeting of the committee on May 18. According to a DIPR report, the meeting will be held at 11 am in the C Chongshen Committee Room of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat in Kohima. All members of the committee have been requested to make it convenient to attend the meeting without fail.
