GOM Mon conducts awareness prog
Gospel Outreach Ministry (GOM), Mon, conducted a three-day awareness programme on drugs and opium from September 22 to 24 in Tangnyu village. The awareness programme was jointly organised by Tangnyu village council, Mission Board of Youth Department, and Bumeinok Tangnyu village. Altogether 112 clients attended the awareness programme.
WCH convenes meet
Western Chakhesang Hoho (WCH) has convened an executive emergency meeting on October 3 at Sodzulhou village community hall at 11 a.m. The Hoho has informed to all the office bearers, advisors, representatives to CPO and Tenyimia Union along with two members from each unit are to attend the proposed meeting without fail.
WCYO to hold cultural prog
Western Chakhesang Youth Organisation (WCYO) has announced to organise a one day cultural programme on October 2 at Dimapur Town Hall on the theme “Rejuvenate our cultural values” with SK Kenye, Director of Geology and Mining (Retd) as the resource person. The main highlights of the programme would include competitions on folk songs among the 16 units of Western Chakhesang area. WCYO media cell has informed all the concerned members to attend the programme.
TSUD supports PSAN
Tenyimi Student’s Union Dimapur (TSUD) has expressed support to the Public Service Aspirants Nagaland (PSAN) in their fight against the cabinet decision to remove the Class III post from NPSE examination. TSUD president, Azo Wetsah, and the general secretary, A Shyerhunlo Lorin, have appealed the cabinet minister to review its decision as it will only bring about discouragement to the young educated unemployed who wanted to serve in the government sector. TSUD general secretary, A Shyerhunlo Lorin, has requested all the aspirants and organisations to extend cooperation towards PSAN.
