Road safety prog. in Wokha

Wokha District Transport office will be holding a road safety awareness programme on Sep. 27, 11 a.m. at Hammock Resort, under the theme “Time for action.” Deputy Commissioner, Wokha Wezope Kenye will grace the function as the chief guest. The programme is being initiated by Ministry of Road Transport and Highway (MORTH) in association of State Road Transport undertaking (ASRTU) and organised by the Motor Vehicles Department. During the programme, Transport Commissioner Elias T Lotha will deliver the key note address, Sr. Superintendent of Police, Wokha, T.ChumrenLotha will speak on road accident impact and preventions, while Edward Ngullie will on citizen’s perspective on road safety and District Transport Officer, Wokha will highlight on road safety initiatives.

DoSE notifies on GT seniority list

The Department of School Education has informed that the department is going to restructure the seniority list of graduate teachers. Therefore, all state graduate teachers have been requested to submit their first appointment order, regularization order, B.Ed certificate (if qualified) and HSLC admit card. Late graduate teachers (P/T) are asked to submit first appointment order, graduation certificate, marksheet and admit card along with granting of graduate scale order to room no. 19 on or before Oct. 16. Failing to submit necessary documents on time, the department shall not be held responsible for non inclusion of his/her name in the said list.

ADC & DEO Pughoboto informs

ADC & DEO Pughoboto Avelu Ruho has informed all recognized political party under 13 Pughoboto A/C that a meeting will be held on Sep. 27, 11 a.m. at the office chamber of ADC, Pughoboto in connection with special summary revision of photo electoral roll.
All administrative officers, supervisors and political party have been requested to attend the meeting positively.
CoLA, TGSU penultimate meeting The penultimate meeting of CoLA, TGSU has been convened on Sep. 30, 11 a.m. at Tesophenyu Community Hall (newly built) for further activating to host the 39th General Conference of Rengma Students’ Union. All committees have been requested to be present physically to update report and progress of the committee.

Zeme council notifies private schools

In confluence with the SCERT notification on Tribal Naga language “Naga Heritage Studies” from Class 1 to 5 dated 9th Sept.2017 for the 2018 academic session, the Zeme Council Nagaland has directed all private schools within Zeme jurisdiction under Peren district to place their requirement as per the students’ enrollment within Sept. 30. Further, it has informed that there shall be a combine meeting of Zeme Council Nagaland and Zeme literature committees at the SCERT office on Sept. 28. All executive members have been requested to attend the meeting positively.
