Nationalist Congress party appoints convenor

Nagaland State Nationalist Congress Party has appointed Vanthungo Odyuo as convenor with immediate effect. The party expressed hope that he will work with greater zeal and enthusiasm in strengthening the party.

CTYO notifies

Chumukedima Town Youth Organisation (CTYO) has informed all dog owners of Chumukedima town to properly chain and control pets from loitering around. With numerous complaints from citizens regrading dogs loitering randomly and biting the public, CTYO has directed the owners to chain their pets from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Failing which the CTYO will take its own course of action for the safety of the public. CTYO also informed that the organisation has strictly banned partying within its jurisdiction and if anybody found partying or involved in immoral activities the defaulter(s) will be dealt strictly as per the organisation’s resolution. Further, it informed all shopkeepers to close their shops on Sunday excluding pharmacies and bakeries.

TSUD presidential meeting

The Tenyimi Students’ Union Dimapur (TSUD) has convened a presidential meeting on June 17 at 2 p.m. at Tenyimi Union Dimapur (TUD) office. All the constituent unit presidents and seniors have been requested to attend the meeting positively.

NSSATA Kiphire unit meeting

Nagaland SSA Teachers’ Association, Kiphire Unit has convened a general meeting on June 30, 10 a.m. at Hopongkyu Memorial Kiphire Town. All SSA teacher apointees of 2010 and 2012 batches have been informed to attend the meeting positively. Absentees shall be deal according to its resolution, informed unit.

BJP Wokha to observe Sabaka Saath Sabka Vikas Samintan

The Bharatiya Janata Party, Wokha district in collaboration with Indian Oil Corporation will be celebrating three-year achievement of Modi Govovernment (Sabaka Saath Sabka Vikas Samintan) on June 14, 11 a.m. at Town Hall Wokha. Dr. T. M. Lotha, Advisor of Treasury and Accounts, Labour and Employment and Skill Development will grace the programme as chief guest. All BJYM, BJMM, Kisan cell, ST Morcha and minority cell have been informed to attend the programme. It also directed all four mandal presidents to attend with atleast 100 workers.
