IRCS to observe World Red Cross Day

The Nagaland State Branch of the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) will be observing World Red Cross Day on May 8, 11 a.m. at the Conference Hall, Red Cross Complex, Kohima. Director General of Police, Nagaland, L.L. Doungel, IPS will grace the occasion as chief guest. Students of Minister’s Hill Baptist Higher Secondary School & Rev. Dr. Neiliezhii Usou Memorial School, Kohima and Little Flower Higher Secondary School Kohima will perform “To believe” and “Heal the world” respectively.

TNAI Dimapur unit to observe Nurses Day

Trained Nurse Association of India (TNAI), Dimapur unit will be observing the International Nurses Day on May 12 at 12 noon in the Chapel Hall of District Hospital Dimapur. Retired nurses are also requested to attend the function.

Excise Dimapur seizes IMFL

Excise Mobile Squad Dimapur Special Surveillance team, on a tip off, seized 410 bottles of assorted liquor from Dimapur town area on May 5 at around 7 a.m. In this connection, one Rajesh Kumar, son of Ravin Kumar was arrested and booked under relevant section of the NLTP Act, 1989. The seized articles have been deposited at the Mobile Squad Malkhana.

ENWO to hold general conference

Eastern Nagaland Women Organization (ENWO) will be holding its 4th general conference on May 17 and 18 at Chessore Village, Tuensang District.

ANTA Wokha unit meeting

All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA) Wokha Unit has convened an office bearers meeting on May 7, 2 p.m. at ANTA Wokha Unit office. All the office bearers have been requested to attend the meeting positively. Meanwhile, the association informed that the office of ANTA Wokha unit has been shifted to Riphyim Baptist Church Building above Gravity Wokha Tsumang Colony. Therefore, for correspondence the association requested everyone to take note of the new office address.
