Technical Education dept. informs

In supersession of earlier notification of even No. DTE/ESTT-2/12/2018 dated Kohima, the 29th May 2018, the Technical education department has informed that the last date of submission of Class XII mark sheet for NSEE has been extended to June 15. The department director, Arjun Singh, has directed those candidates under CBSE, who are yet to receive Class XII mark sheet, to collect the same from their schools or download the same and submit it on or before June 15. He further informed that documents of those candidates failing to submit the same during the stipulated would be forfeited.

NSCN (IM) informs

NSCN (IM), deputy kilonser and in-charge of Peren district, has informed all public that 5% deduction of contract works from all concerned should be routed through his knowledge. In a press release, the deputy kilonser, Kelang, has appealed all concerned not to entertain such demand without his knowledge. He has further appealed all concerned to cooperate with the organisation.

MVYO cautions residents

Medziphema Village Youth Organisation (MVYO) has expressed serious concern over reports doing round on social media regarding prevalence of child kidnapping cases in the state. The organisation press release on Monday stated has requested all citizens not to panic but restrict door-to-door entry of unknown salesman, mechanics, tourists in the village. It has further cautioned that anyone violating the organisation would be doing at their own risk and added that the organisation would not be held responsible for any untoward incident.

TSUD convenes meeting

The Tenyimi Students’ Union Dimapur (TSUD) union assembly and presidential meeting have been scheduled to be held on June 16 at 2:00 pm at the Tenyimi Union Dimapur complex. A press release from the union has informed on Monday. The constituent units, sub-ordinate units president, seniors, advisor are requested to attend the meeting.  The union also requested the units’ president to submit the agenda to the speaker on or before June 14.

Colonies oppose dumping waste

The Forest Colony Council and the Midland Colony Council in Dimapur have prohibited dumping of wastes material within the jurisdiction. The prohibition was made with special reference from the stretch opposite of the Little Star Higher Secondary School to Nepali Basti Gate. It was informed that the joint council would monitor the area at all times with the caution that the defaulters would be penalised INR 5000.
