A newly recognized Chingkao Chingpong Village under Mon district was inaugurated on January 6 by P.S to Minister of RD & REPA, Pangloi Konyak.
In his inaugural speech, chief guest said, the day was a historic day for Chingkai Chingpong village, as their long cherished dream comes into a reality. He said, establishing a new village is a sign of new thoughts and progress, and urged the people of the village to maintain peace and tranquility.Short speeches were delivered by DPO, RD Mon Manching Konyak, on behalf of RD department and said, development depends on people wisdom and knowledge and urged the people of the village to make proper use of government fund and schemes for village development. Konyak Union President S. Manlip Konyak, Akang Chingkao Chingnyu village and Head GB Chingkao Chingha village.
The inaugural programme was chaired by H. Mongnyei, welcome address was delivered by Acting Chairman C/Chingpong Village. Folk dance by C/Chingnyu male group and C/Chingpong women. Special Number was presented by Chingkao Chingha Students’ Union, Chingkao Nyaho Youth, C/Chingpong Youth.
