DIMAPUR — For the convenience of rail travellers, a two-minute additional stoppage has been provided for train no. 13247/13248 (Kamakhya—Rajendra Nagar—Kamakhya) Capital Express at Aluabari Road railway station.
According to an official statement, the Capital Express with the new stoppage at Aluabari Road was flagged off on December 27 by the MP of Raiganj, Debasree Chaudhuri. Senior railway officials from the division and other dignitaries attended the occasion.
Train no. 13247 (Kamakhya—Rajendra Nagar) Capital Express will arrive at Aluabari Road at 4:58 pm and depart at 5:00 pm. For the return journey, train no. 13248 (Rajendra Nagar—Kamakhya) will arrive at 10:15 am and depart at 10:17 am.
This new stoppage provides rail commuters in the area with another travel option. Stoppage details and timings are available on the IRCTC website and through NTES. Passengers are advised to verify details before travelling.
In another event on the same day, Chaudhuri laid the foundation stone for raising the platform height and constructing an RBG room at Kanki railway station in the presence of the local MLA, senior railway officials, and other dignitaries.
