New school building for RMSA in Nagaland’s Phek district

Dimapur, July 19 (EMN): The newly constructed Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) school building in Thüvopisü village under Phek district was inaugurated was inaugurated by director of school education Wonthongo Tsopoe in the presence of teachers, students, and well-wishers on July 19.

Describing the new RMSA building as a new milestone, Tsopoe encouraged the teachers and students to use the infrastructure wisely to scale new heights, informed an update received on Friday. He also called upon the staff to re-dedicate and give their best to impart quality education to the students, as education is the only weapon to change the society.

The director informed that the department is awarding awards to the best performing government schools under various categories to encourage competitive spirit among the government schools. He also inspected the Community Hostel constructed with the help of financial contribution from each households and well-wishers from the village and assured to look into the matter.

It may be mentioned that the school is running without headmaster and assistant headmaster.

Theodore Yanthan, ADC Chozuba, also spoke at the event chaired by Thungrhomo Odyuo, SDEO, Chozuba.
