New Moto G62 5G with Snapdragon 695 chipset launched in India
Lenovo-owned Motorola on Thursday launched its new Moto G62 5G android smartphone in India.
Motorola actually launched the Moto G62 5G back in June, however, the company is now launching an updated version of the same phone. The new Moto G62 5G will be powered by a more powerful Snapdragon 695 chipset, replacing the Snapdragon 480+ that came with the old variant.
The company has confirmed that the new Moto G62 5G smartphone will share the same specs as its older variant except for the chipset, RAM options and support for higher 20W fast-charging for the battery.
The device features a 6.5-inch display with FHD+ resolution (20:9) and support for 120Hz refresh rate. It will also have a 5000 mAh battery, dual-SIM slots, Dolby Atmos streo speakers, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
In terms of design, the Moto G62 5G comes with a plastic body and looks very similar to its siblings, the Moto G71 5G and Moto G82 5G. The device has an IP52 rating and will be available in two colour options: Midnight Gray and Frosted Blue.
