New church building inaugurated in Dimapur

Dr. Vezopa Tetseo, speaking at the dedicating programme of the new church building at Naga United Village, Dimapur, on November 4.[/caption] Dimapur, Nov. 4 (EMN): A new church building of the Chakhesang community at Naga United Village was dedicated on November 4 by the executive secretary of the Chakhesang Baptist Churches Council (CBCC) Rev. Dr. Vezopa Tetseo. Quoting the Gospel of Luke 19:46, the Reverend reminded the congregation that a church is house of prayer, a place of teaching God’s word, and a place for preaching gospel. He has described a church as ‘house of consecration’ where any believer can receive sanctification. The Reverend reminded the congregation that it is the house of God where missionaries are sent out to attain religious studies and serve the Lord. While underlining roles of the church in order to alleviate plight of the poor and needy people, he called upon the community to extend materialistic and spiritual support.
