Dimapur, Sep. 11 (EMN): The government of Nagaland has appointed a new chairperson, besides two members, to the Nagaland State Commission for Women.
The government publicity agency the department of Information and Public Relations (IPR), gave details on Wednesday informing about the change.
The IPR stated that the governor of Nagaland has appointed Khrienuo Tachii as chairperson, while Chongliu, no surname given in the report, and W Nginyeih Konyak, are appointed members.
“The appointment shall be for a period of 3 (three) years from the date of their joining the post and the terms/conditions/power/functions/honorarium of their appointment shall be regulated as per the provisions of the aforesaid Act and rules made there under from time to time,” the IPR added.
