The event is titled “TUDUM: A Netflix Global Fan Event” and the company has revealed that the event was named after its iconic sound that plays alongside the Netflix logo whenever a user starts streaming one of its shows.

The TUDUM event will be a three-hour-long virtual function where fans will get to see stars and creators of more than 70 Netflix original films, series and specials. Netflix says that the goal of the event was to honour Netflix fans across the globe and create buzz around many of the content that the streaming giant has accumulated in its library.

It’s our first-ever global TUDUM event, and our goal is simple: to entertain and honour Netflix fans from across the globe.”

Stars like Henry Cavill, Idris Elba, Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth, Millie Bobby Brown, Dwayne Johnson and many others are featured in the announcement video and are slated to attend the upcoming event.

TUDUM will feature 70 series, films and specials including hit Netflix shows like Stranger Things, Bridgerton, The Witcher, Money Heist, The Crown, Cobra Kai, Emily in Paris, The Umbrella Academy and Ozark.

The event will also showcase blockbuster films like Red Notice, Don’t Look Up, Extraction, The Harder They Fall, The Old Guard and more.

Netflix said that the event will have special pre-shows spotlighting shows and films from South Korea and India along with “exciting anime content.”

The event will also have interactive panels where fans will be able to take part in conversations with stars and creators of Netflix originals.

The TUDUM event kicks off at 9.30 PM IST on September 25.
