Neithongunuo Rio Achumi wins Women Leadership Award

DIMAPUR — Neithongunuo Rio Achumi was awarded the Women Leadership Award for her contributions as an athlete and coach in health, fitness, and beauty.

The World Women Leadership Congress and Awards, North East’s Woman Leaders, award ceremony was held at Vivanta in Guwahati, Assam on March 30.

“Having such a recognition bestowed upon me is an honour, but to me it is more of a reflection of the strength, integrity and character of those who recognised and bestowed the award to me. They are the true leaders, mentors and stalwarts who understand, acknowledge, encourage and validate our battles and victories as women in today's society,” she said, according to an update.
