NEISSR conducts cleanliness drive

[caption id="attachment_205870" align="aligncenter" width="565"] Trainees of the NEISSR and volunteers from Model colony pose for a photograph during the cleanliness drive.[/caption] Dimapur, Sep. 9 (EMN): With the aim to disseminate about the importance of maintaining cleanliness, the Youth Development Forum of North East Institute of Social Sciences and Research (NEISSR) organised cleanliness drive at Model colony Dimapur on September 8. The students of NEISSR and youths from Model colony participated in the cleanliness drive. It was informed that the Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) provided trucks to dump the collected waste. Meanwhile, a short programme was also organised by the forum on the importance of cleanliness, and its impact in the society. During the programme, Alan Paul, a student from 3rd semester, spoke about the importance of cleanliness, and treats of non-biodegradable wastes.
