DIMAPUR — The North East Institute of Social Sciences and Research (NEISSR) concluded its induction programme for the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) batch of 2024-2027 on July 23 at its premises in Chümoukedima.

The final day of orientation featured events and sessions designed to prepare students for their academic journey and career aspirations, according to a press release.

Speaking on the final day about competitive exams, IAS officer Mohammad Ali Shihab conducted an in-depth session on various examinations, including UPSC, NPSC, NSSB, and SSC.

He emphasised the connection between social work and civil services, highlighting how a background in social work can significantly contribute to a successful career in civil services.

Earlier, Fr. Dr. C P Anto, principal of NEISSR, delivered the welcome address.
