Newly elected NPF MLA Dr Neiphrezo Keditsu took oath as Member of the 12th Nagaland Legislative Assembly at the Conference Hall of the NLA on Wednesday.
Speaker of the Assembly Chotisuh Sazo administered the oath to the newly elected MLA.
Neiphrezo defeated BJP candidate Visasolie Lhoungu in a straight fight in the Northern Angmai-II bypoll held on October 15 by a margin of 3,045 votes. The seat was earlier held by former Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio who vacated it after being elected to the 16th Lok Sabha.
A large number of NPF workers and supporters of the newly elected MLA also attended the oath taking ceremony. Deputy Speaker Er. Levi was also in attendance.
