Neiphiu Rio to launch Nagaland Covid Info App on Thursday

Kohima, June 9 (EMN): In what will help public have easy access to details concerning the ongoing pandemic, Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio will officially launch Nagaland Covid information application (Covid Info App) on Thursday at 10:30 am in the state’s Covid-19 War Room, Secretariat, Kohima.

Through the App, citizens can access Covid- related information of all the districts.

“Another step towards transparent governance, smooth access to information, easy assistance and optimum use of IT-related solutions to improve governance,” office of the chief minister tweeted on Wednesday.

The application will provide Covid-19 information, including hospital beds status to citizens through a single platform. Contact information at all levels of management of Covid-19 in the state will also be provided to assist the citizens to quickly get help during times of emergencies, a press release from DIPR stated.

Nagaland Covid Info App is being developed by the department of Information Technology and Communication and would be made available for downloading on Google play store and iOS App Store.
