DIMAPUR — Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on Sunday expressed his appreciation for the significant role played by pastors and deacons in the state’s churches and communities.
Speaking at the Angami Baptist Church Council deacons and pastors conference hosted in Tuophema, Rio stated that the fellowship would open “new channels of blessing” for the village and for all participants.
According to a post on X, the chief minister highlighted the dedication, leadership, and quiet sacrifices of deacons and pastors, saying that their ministry strengthens churches and supports the wider community.
“Many lives, families, and communities continue to stand strong because of your dedicated service and intercessions,” he said.
