Neiphiu Rio mourns the demise of former Sanis MLA P Nkhao Jami Lotha, recalling his service as a police officer and dedicated public servant.

DIMAPUR — Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on Thursday expressed grief over the demise of P Nkhao Jami Lotha, former MLA of 39th Sanis Assembly Constituency in Wokha district.
In a condolence message, Rio described the late leader as a hardworking and selfless person who consistently placed the welfare of the people above all else. He recalled that prior to entering politics, Nkhao had served the state government as a police officer and had discharged his duties with sincerity and dedication, particularly in maintaining law and order.

The chief minister also said that as a former colleague, he knew Nkhao to be simple and humble in nature, approachable, and genuinely committed to public service.
