[caption id="attachment_284313" align="aligncenter" width="600"] Delegates from Nagaland along with the chief convenor of the NEIPF others.[/caption] Dimapur, Nov. 24 (EMN): The North East Indigenous People’s Forum (NEIPF) organised a sit-in protest on November 22 against the Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) at the Chachal Dharna ground in Guwahati. The forum submitted a memorandum to the prime minister of India demanding that the CAB should not be passed. A copy of the memorandum was also sent to all the chief ministers of the seven north-eastern states of India, the NIPF’s press secretary informed on Sunday. Delegates from the state units of the NEIPF and the Naga Students’ Union at Guwahati participated in the protest.
