Neilangunuo Sanchu wins 8th Angels Mega Model Hunt

Neilangunuo Sanchu, a 23 years old teacher, has won the 8th Angels Mega Model Hunt 2015, Nagaland. The 5.6 feet tall teacher overcame eight other contestants in a competition held at Bamboo Hall, Kisama Monday evening.
Sanchu aspires to take bold steps for women empowerment and wishes to create awareness on gender equality.
Azho Kalpana bagged the first runners-up spot while Alen Phom was adjudged the second runners-up.
The following are the sub-titles winners: Most Gorgeous – Azho Kalpana, Beautiful Skin – Nchumbeni Shitiri, Most Congeniality – Vekusalü Venyo, Best Cat Walk – Vilika Shohe, Best Body – Nonying P. Konyak and Best Modern Ethnic Wear – Rini-u Kapfo.
Besides cash awards, the first three winners have ensured themselves direct entry into the 13th Mega Miss North East competition scheduled to be held in Guwahati, Assam in January 2016.
They will also be walking the ramp with top models in Fashion Carnival, a two-day mega event in Guwahati while Leeway Leisure Resort Guwahati has sponsored them three day free stay in the resort.
The event was managed by Get Gorgeous Society Nagaland and powered by Nagaland Contractors’ and Suppliers’ Union.
